Born in Winnipeg and raised in Vancouver, her journey spans decades of representational art, family life, and personal growth. Now based in Kelowna, Estella’s art evolves with her, reflecting transformation, emotion, and the human experience. When at work in her studio, she approaches her canvas with creative abandon – getting into the flow. When the paint brush has completed its final touches – the painting is awash with love.
Estella is a mature artist, having worked in the traditional representational art form for many decades, she has recently expanded into abstract and here she felt a sense of renewal – finding a new form of expression.
A unique aspect of her artwork is that there are no boundaries – an art piece can be hung from any side – with each offering a fresh new perspective.
